What's cooking in the kitchen?
Imagine dinnertime. Same old, same old. What to cook? You open the pantry and think..."Am I really going to make pasta again? Nah, a stir-fry?...Boring! How about the pre-packaged meals I just got on sale...?" And so it goes, back to the same grind. You might wonder, what does any of this have to do with belly dancing? Expand your ideas beyond the box. Belly dance is a fantastic way to find more flavor in life. I find myself in the kitchen wanting hummus, pita, tabouli, babaganouj, and kabobs in lemon yogurt sauce. If I'm speaking a different language, it may be time for you to escape the box....escape the same old mundane...flavor up your life with bellydancing.
Todays dinner: Grilled Greek chicken with mint over a bed of tri-color couscous, topped with kalamata olives, cucumbers, tomatoes and fresh feta cheese. Oh yeah, fresh homemade warm wheat naan on the side. Mmmm.
The kids are going to LOVE it...last time my oldest son said "Mom, this meal is definitely a do-over!" That was a happy moment for me. :)

Fun Night at the Sight of Water Studio...
Tonight was our Christmas party combining Tiger Eyes Dance Company with the Sight of Water Dance Studio in Orem. We all had a great time laughing, dancing, doing make-up, and eating delish baklava and wassail! I love seeing all my friends that I use to dance with in the Ma arawak group. Merry Christmas to everyone! I love you all.
